Invitation: COP26 South Africa Pavilion Events
COP26 South Africa Pavilion Events
We invite you to participate in our COP26 South Africa Pavilion events taking place online and in Glasgow, Scotland, from the 2nd to 11th of November 2021. In line with this year’s focus for COP26, the South Africa Pavilion events are designed to give you insight into the bold steps being taken by Government in collaboration with business and key stakeholders towards enhanced ambition.
Please feel free to share this invitation and event schedule but note that in-person sessions are restricted to 20 people due to COVID-19 protocols.
Please ensure that you register your in-person attendance and receive a confirmation email. Most of the pavilion events are hybrid so you may join online if you are unable to attend in person. Should there be any changes to the programme, these will be communicated.
The National Business Initiative (NBI) is an independent and voluntary coalition of South African and multinational businesses launched in 1995 by the then President, Mr Nelson Mandela. The NBI has a package of projects and partnerships that are designed to help companies understand the nature and depth of the climate change challenge, build their capacity to respond and to work collectively with Government to develop solutions tailored towards achieving a Just Transition and a climate resilient economy.
Please note that all of the below events will take place at the South Africa Pavilion, SECC HALL4 – Entrance Nr. PV65 –Glasgow, Scotland.
See below the full list of events taking place at the COP26 South Africa Pavilion and register to attend either online or in-person.
A selection of events will also be live streamed on the NBI YouTube Channel: here.
A reminder to please only share the YouTube link on social media – the below hybrid events can be forwarded to your networks as a focused invitiation, since space is limited.
